WHY DOES MY DOCUMENTS ARE ALWAYS IN PENDING STATUS WITH MY hp psc 1310. wHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN THERE IS OFFLINE STATUS OF THE PRINTER?

It means your printer is not connect correctly to your computer. Can be various problems.
1) Make sure when you print that you select that specific printer as more than printer can be installed on your computer. 2) Go to control panel and set that specific printer as default if there is more that one printer installed on your computer (3) Make sure your printer is power on (4) make sure the USB cable if you use use cable is well connected - sometime they tend to pull out a bit without you seeing it, just push it back in (5) Try another port on your computer (6) re-install the software (7) if you are using a network printer this becomes another ball game - please confirm if you are using a local printer plugged into your computer or if you are printing over a network. Cheers!

My hp 2360 wont print, green light keeps on blinking, it says printer offline on the printer status bar

Make sure that cable to printer is attached and if printer still shows offline then in control panel for the printers make sure that you right click and choose Use Printer Online

What the flashing light means
The Power light can flash for several reasons:
? The printer cover is open.
? The printer is out of paper.
? A problem exists with the printer, such as a paper jam or a problem with a print
cartridge.

hi,
try these steps i am sure it will help you..
go to the control panel look for
Printer and Faxes under Control Panel. Look for the printer icon that shows in offline status. Right click 'Properties' and go to the Ports tab folder. Select the Port IP address in question and click on 'Configure Port' button. Click on the check box next to SNMP [SNMP status enabled] to remove the check mark and to disable the option. Click OK on the Configure Port window. Click Close on the properties window,
after that close all the windows and try, this ma help.

Status seen as offline .HP 1400 series

If the printer status is offline it means that you are either A) not connected to the printer by USB/Serial/Parallel B) Connected to the same network as the network printer or C) The printer is not turned on with the approriate connection plugged into the printer/computer.

Windows says printer offline, but it is not offline. network settings confirmed. windows firewall turned off. scanner works perfectly over network, but printer is "offline"

If you have an HP, they have a downloadable tool to help with this problem. However, I used it and didn't work! I tried everything else I ever read, including all the rebooting and reinstalling drivers, renaming ports, etc... and nothing worked, until this answer:

Good News, and thanks to all that replied. As I was clicking around, I noticed in the OfficeJet Properties window a button, Configure Ports at the lower right. In the next window, I clicked OFF the SNMP Status Enabler, and my document in the print queue printed. Now I am going to my daughters laptop and fix that,
Thanks again. Jim

I'm not sure how to give credit to this guy, but it was the only thing that worked for me!

Cant print

Hi talodyis,
Some how someone has created, (Copy2). (It shouldn't be there at all nor a Copy1).
Only an icon of the HP PCS 1110 series & HP PCS 1110 Fax.
Let's try the easy way to fix this first!
Left click the Start button once & slide up to & left click once on Printers and Faxes.
Printers and Faxes window will open. Find Copy2 & right click on it once, slide to & left click Delete. (Copy 2 should go away)!
You still have an listing of an HP 1110 here in Printers and Faxes window.
Find the HP 1110 series printer from the list, right click on it once & from within the pop-up window left click, Set as "Default Printer". That should do it. Play it safe & restart the system.

Good luck!
Mike
