Question about Husqvarna Viking 1
You should have the upper thread sensor checked out by a qualified Husqvarna technician. The check spring operates the sensor. If the check spring is sticking for some reason, it will cause this to happen. It may be as simple as removing lint from the sensor area or a little more involved as in changing the check spring completely. Either can be done without removing the front cover.
I don't recommend trying to remove the tension assembly cover yourself. If you break it, it's an expensive piece to have replaced. If I break it, it is an expensive piece for me to replace. See the difference?
