Logitech Quickcam Communicate Delux Auidio Problems with Skype

I just purchased a brand new Logitech Quickcam Communicate Delux for the sole purpose of using it with skype. When I make calls my voice cuts in and out and/or echoes to the point of inaudibility. I've tried changing the audio settings, moving my speakers further away from the camera, using headphones, etc. Please help!

Thanks,

Rob

I lowered the volume on my mic all the way down and placed a test call and once again i had the same problem. One thing i forgot to mention in my original post is that whenever I place a test call with skype to test my mic, my voice comes through as clear as day. I would prefer not to buy a USB phone - the whole reason I purchased this logitech camera was to avoid such a purchase.

I did everything you said, but unfortunately I am having the same problems. What is weird is that my voice comes in clearly in some calls, but then is inaudible in others. It is inaudible the vast majority of the time.

I had a similar problem, the solution was as simple as not playing your voice through the speakers. The problem sounds like one of feedback. There are companies that sell phones that hook up to your usb port and will not cause this type of problem. Another solution may be lowering the volume on your mic.

Try this and let me know if it helps. The problem is not the camera but with Skype. Their solution is this: www.logitech.com/qc115beta

Uninstall the software for the camera and reinstall only the drivers for it from the link above.

Have you tried to add your camera in Skype's video settings? If yes, try to exit your Logitech software and then check if it's working. Hope you'll fix it. Good Luck!

Problem with Skype, using OSX

Normal 0 How much memory is installed in your computer? The camera uses quite a bit of your memory to operate properly and would cause the poor video. Could be other
Issues, but worth checking.
Hope this helps. Bud
