The oven nor broiler would ignite this morning but the stove top would. when we got home this evning, the stove top no longer worked. There was gas there, but the ignitor would not click.
I am having the exact same problem with my Whirlpool 465 Super Capacity Gas Range/Oven. Neither my stovetop burners or oven will ignite, though there is obvious gas flow. I have been away for a couple of weeks, and had no problem before I left.
What do I need to do to resolve this problem?
Thank you!
I have the same problem intermittently on my Super Cap 465. After reading the following quote from another site, "There have been cases where radio waves, electronic signals and sometimes something as strange as dimmers in lights have caused some weird problems with some computer panels in stoves like these", I tried turning off lights that might be on the same circuit and wouldn't you know it, the oven igniter circuit worked.
If the range clicks but does not ignite there is no gas flow. If the opposite occurs, check the circuit breaker and test the outlet. If these both fail there is a faulty circuit in the range.

Hi ,
Happy to help you!
I would advise you on this occasion to call service.
If the range is 10 years old or more do not invest a lot of money into it!
replace it under these circumstances

Same as above. Thank you.
I have the same problem, however, it only seems to happen more in the winter months and after 4 pm. I'm ready to throw the bleepin thing out the window.
I have an intermittent igniter problem with my gas range
the oven would not light so I unplugged the range waited
about one minute and plugged it back in then it worked for
about a week the next time it failed to start I tried the same
thing with no success so I removed the igniter module and
checked it for cold solder joints again I had success and it
worked for about a year now the stovetop nor the oven will
ignite so I checked for a poor ground, no success so I unplugged
the range and left it over night, the next morning it worked fine
this is becoming very irritating, any suggestions?
I have one non working stove top burner. I can light it with a match, so I know gas is flowing. Also, it clicks but does not ignite. I have the back of the stove off, and none of the computer is marked so I have no clue what to check. Any help?
I have the same problem. Oven and broiler no longer work. I purchased a new mother board for $225 dollars and still nothing. I hate to keep pouring money in a 10 year old stove.
gas stove burners work great but oven will not turn on and get hot...........what may be the problem an do others have the same type problem
