The dryer is giving a code E68, and stop drying.

The error code means a key is stuck; enter the service diagnostic mode and perform the key test to determine which key is stuck. Once the key is determined, try to unstuck it; u may have to replace the electronic control board if the error code continues to appear after the button is unstuck.

Press and hold simultaneously the Select and Cancel buttons for six seconds to reset the control then immediately after the buzzer sounds, turn the cycle selector knob 5 clicks counterclockwise to position the cycle indicator light second (Touch Up) from the bottom.

Press and hold the Options and Cancel button simultaneously for two seconds to enter the service diagnostic mode. The buzzer will sound three times and all of the LEDs will flash indicating the service diagnostic mode has been entered successfully.

Press each button and all corresponding LEDs should flash; otherwise the button is stuck or a faulty. Unstuck the key and perform the key test again; replace the control board if the problem is not resolved.

Access to the control board requires the removal of the top panel and the console. Disconnect power to the dryer prior to servicing to avoid the risk of electric shock.

Remove the two screws attaching the top panel to the rear of the dryer then slide the panel rearward and lift it off the dryer.

Remove the four screws, two on each side, securing the console to the front panel then flip the console forward. Disconnect the wires from the control board and lift the console off.

Remove the five screws mounting the control board to the console and lift the control off. Remove the control board's rear cover by releasing the two locking tabs the flip the cover off the control board. Try to unstuck the faulty key and reassemble the dryer in reverse of the disassembly steps

How can i fix my dryer. I it stuck on control lock

Press and hold the End of Cycle Signal button for 3 seconds or until the Control Locked indicator turns off to unlock the control. This button actually has the marking below it that says " Hold for 3 Seconds to Lock/Unlock Control". You have to check the control for any stuck button and unstuck it if the control still cannot be unlocked with the End of Cycle Signal button and unplugging the dryer for at least 15 minutes. Let us know if the problem persists.

Door locks stick on and drain battery

One of the switches must be bad or stuck in the lock or unlock position. Try functioning each switch several times in both directions to see if you can get it unstuck or maybe help isolate which switch it is.

The control panel on my lexmark all-in-one intuition S505 printer is stuck in the upright position and will not go back down...how do i get it unstuck?

I had the same problem for a week, and I share your frustration. Under the panel, in the center, is an elevated piece of plastic with three ridges. Push this in (you'll be reaching your hand in, so you're actually pushing up towards the back of the panel) and the panel should slide down. Good luck!

The buttons can now be tested. Press each button and the corresponding LEDs turn on. You should be able to find which button is stuck. The Options and Select buttons turn on the same set of LEDs and also the Cancel and Start/Pause buttons.

Access the control and unstuck the button. Disconnect power and remove the top panel by removing the screws attaching it to the rear of the dryer. Slid the panel rearward and lift it off the cabinet. The screws attaching the console to the cabinet are exposed. Remove the screws and disconnect the wire harnesses then remove the console. The control can now be removed and the buttons are exposed. Unstuck or clean the stuck button contacts. It is recommended to clean all other button contacts to prevent the recurrence of the same problem in the near future.

Lock on light flashing

I finally decided to calm down and use my head and managed to solve the problem. I read the instructions that are on the top of the dishwasher door. ( Smart move on my part HUH!) It said that when the door lock light is on everything is disabled. Hold the air/dry button down for 4 seconds and the lock light will go out. Guess what, IT WORKED. Here is what I learned from this. Always read all instructions. I spent $9.95 for an answer that was right in front of me. Humans can be so dumb I am!!!!
