ICE IN BOTTOM OF FREEZER AND LEAKING WATER
you have a blocked drain in the freezer, when the freezer defrosts the water that melts off of the evap coil goes down the drain under the coil and down to where the compressor is so it will evaporate from the heat, your drain is blocked and the water is leaking down into the fridge section,in the fridge section where the light is look around for a hole, the timer is there, with a strait blade screw driver turn it slowly until it clicks,if you have the freezer door open you'll hear the fan shut off,you manually advanced the timer into defrost mode, this will help you melt the ice and you don't want the fan running while you're working near it and it will blow warm air into the air ducts and cause another problem so either click it into defrost or unplug it.with a hair dryer melt all the ice you see,now you have to work on the drain, blow heat into the drain hole and stick a screw driver on top of it,the metal will heat up and you can keep pushing into the ice in the drain to help melt it out,i use a steemer to clean out the drain but if you don't have one use anything that will blow into the drain or push through it like a turkey baster or an air compressor, slime builds up in the drain and you have to blow it out, when you think the drain is clear pour hot water into the drain,if it drains down you're done,if it doesn't keep hitting it.one more thing on some of the top mount freezers there's an outside part of the drain that you can access on the back outside wall,i don't think you have it but check,if you do,remove it and clean it out at the sink, you can push a plastic tie to snake it out if you have this kind of drain.hope this helps,if you have a piece of copper wire like a ground wire in the middle of an electrical piece of house wire you can stick it into the drain hole and rap the other end around the heater, when the heater comes on the copper heats up enough so the drain won't freeze up again, cut it around 6 inches or so,stick it into the drain until it bottoms out and then cut it just a little shorter than that or you can buy a heater probe at your parts store.good luck.
