I think the problem is an accumulation of dust. try cleaning it out with a can of compressed air, or if you dont have that, by blowing on the lens gently.

The laser unit is most likely faulty and requires replacement. There are usually separate laser diodes for the CD & DVD reading, so the CD might work perfectly while the DVD won't.

Inserted dvd disc but the computor still asking to insert the disk?

The disk is not being read and so the somputer is not detecting the disc. You willhave to change the whole disc drive to clear this fault as the optical unit alone may not be available. Also you can reinstall the drivers once again to make sure that it is not a sofware issue. Open control panel , then open system manager-device manager and reinstall the DVD-Cd drivers. If this wont solve the issue then you will need to change the unit as a whole. Confirm the cost before you attempt to change or you can alsouse an external one through the USB. Hope you try. good day

After i insert DVD it reads then say HO2 then STOP= how do i fix this

You will need to get a can of the compressed air or use an air compressor if you have one. Then remove the housing cover if you can and use the compressed air to blow out any dust and debris inside the unit. Also blow air into the inside of the dvd tray. This has been the common fix for the HO2 error on your DVD player. You could also use a DVD lens cleaning kit.

Disk rotating and a message "invalid disk"

I work for Coby technical support. Our customer service phone number is 1-800-727-3592.

If the unit is showing "invalid disk" on every disk that you try to play, unfortunately, the unit has developed a defect and needs to be replaced. Our warranty is 90 days from the date of purchase. If you've had the player longer than 90 days, I regret to inform you it is out of warranty.

If you feel this solution doesn't deserve a good rating, please let me know why so that I may better assist you. If there is anything more I can do to help, I will!

RCA DVD player model DRC105N that won't read discs anymore

If the DVD is not reading any CD, then it is often a lens problem.

If th lens cleaner does not work the unit must be taken apart, to clean the lens pickup with isopropyl alcohol and soft cotton tips.

In some case is necessary to replace the lens pickup, as this is defective.

HO2 Error???

The problem with your unit is the "Spindle Motor", this motor is the one that spins the disc so the laser can read it. I sugest you to take your player to a shop, or back for service if the unit still under manufacturer warranty.

Panasonic DVD-RP56 Error H02

I read about removing the cover and spinning the motor by hand. It was suggested without power. I found that I had to have the unit powered up when I hand-spun the motor, then everything worked perfectly... we'll see for how long.
