Question about ASUS P5VD2-VM SE - Motherboard - micro ATX - P4M890 - LGA775 Socket - UDMA133, Serial ATA-300 ...
I have recently bought a new cpu
its intel core 2 Duo E8400
3.0 MHz ,6 L2 Cach, front bus speed 1333
when starting my pc, a warning comes as
eror u mode, press F1
then i press F1 and it contiue with no problem
how can i dtop this from happening, and do u think that my mother is in-compatible with the CPU?
I had the same problem I flashed the bios with the utility provided with the motherboard and it fixed it for me. Hope this helps.

This came up because you changed a major component on M/board
I think you need to reset BIOS to default and go from there checking and changing settings in BIOS one at a time until you have the speed you want etc
