Its obvious the drain pumps blocked, rempty machine, remove drain plug, wire mesh scoop water in middle, then take off the plastic cover with a steel like wire on it, clear out the **** blocking the pump, assemble then should be ok.

The wash cycle clicks on and a small amount of water enters the drum, as normal, but then there is just a humming noise and the drum does not move. When I put it on the rinse and spin cycle (there is...

I removed the bottom panel under the door and drained the the tub. There is a white filter housing that unscrews, but you need to have towels handy to catch the water that comes out. The machine appeared to work after that but it would'nt drain and it turns out that the humming noise was coming from the drain pump connected to the filter. I ordered a new drain pump assembly, which should be easy to replace since it is located at the front of the washing machine.

Machines fills upwith water and hums then

It isn't whether the water drained out, it is how quickly the water drained out. Common causes of the LD or long drain fault code are a kinked drain hose or some article of clothing being caught in the pump suction hose and increasing the time that it takes for the water to drain. It has to do with the cycle timer. I would look for some sort of obstruction. Also check the pump impeller for broken/missing blades and that it spins freely. If not, the pump is defective. Hopefully it is just a clogged drain line or pump. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Miele touchtronic 1113 washer

There is a float switch in a pan under the machine. This pan is probably full and the float switch is causing the Intake & Drain fault signal. You can lean the machine over to towards the front to partially drain the pan. Put a towel down to catch the water. When you put the machine level again the fault lights should be out. The real question is where did the water come from. You can easily remove the top (4 screws, 1 on each side behind the little plastic caps and 1 on each side of the back. Torx heads) and look down inside while you start the cycle. Look for leaks.
Good Luck,

Intake drain light flashing

1. Unscrew air gap which is on the counter-top next to sink.
2. Unscrew drain clamp under the sink which s connected to the air gap.
3. Use a wire hanger to push down debris clogging the drain.
4. Screw clamp and air gap back in place.
5. The dishwasher should work. Routinely clean out air gap every half year.

No water going in, cycle not staring correctly

There is a float switch on the bottom plate. When water activates it, the drain will go on. Drain the pan and you will be good. You may have a leak of sorts. Sometime there is no water at all, the styrofoam float just becomes warped.
