Good Day, hdj2269808;
The best way to reset any electronic device is to unplug the power from it's source. Most A/C devices require at least 4 minutes; that includes: TV's, Cable Box, Sat Box, U-Verse Box and etc. Battery operated devices remove battery and re install; like cell phones and etc.

Good Day,
I don't have to reset the hours for a lamp replacement. If you are still have a problem with TV after it indicated that you had a bad Lamp. Double check that lamp was seated properly, the door was closed properly and that all screws are tighten properly.

Switching on the tele this morning, the normal blue background is now half red and half blue.....(top half red) so that while watching a program now people have green faces.......weird!!

Television volume keeps turning up and tv turns on by itself

Try resetting the TV and/ or Boxes, to reset unplug devices from the A/C wall outlet, for 3 to 5 minutes then plug all back into wall again.

Go into the 'menu' then advance area to the audio and turn speakers on. You must have TV's orig remote. Or go to menu:
OPTION MENU "MENU 1370" SERVICE MENU "MENU 2357". Choose reset.

My tv has a sub channel on the screen an i cant take it off

Most TV's have a display button on the remote, try pushing said button. Try resetting TV or cabl;e/sat box for 3 to 5 minutes.
To reset unplug the device from the wall ac outlet, like rebooting your frozen computer.

How to reset after tv shut off by lightning

After storm to reset your TV; unplug TV from the wall for 4-6 minutes, then plug back into to wall, ensure outlet is working. If doesn't correct then TV's main a/c fuse may open.
