My rear brakes are really sqeeling? Will replacing the pads help and how do I do it?

before you start fitting bits, try reversing with the brakes on slightl, then forward with the bakes on slightly, may cure a dust/rust problem.
have you checked the brakes for wear, and if they need replacing do not forget to use copperslip on the backs to stop squeel.
you dont say what model/age it is, so i cant give you fitting instructions.but if its old will it need rotors/drums replacing as well???

I have a 2001 Sonata. I have a squeeling pulley.

It sounds like you have a worn or streched belt making the sqeeling noise. Whenever you turn on a
device in the car that draws a fair amount of voltage
ie. a/c or headlights it will cause increased drag on
the alternator and if you have a loose/worn or glazed
belt, it can slip around the pully making the squeel.
To adjust the alt-a/c belt loosen the mounting bolts
on the tensioner, then use the adjuster bolt behind
the tensioner pully to loosen and tighten the belt.
Be sure to check the belt for cracks bald spots etc.
While the belt is loose spin the pullys to make sure
they all spin freely. Also I would replace the belt just
to be sure. Hope this helps

you did put copperslip grease on the back of the pads before fitting, didnt you?(anti squeel grease).
the rubbing noise will go as the pads bed down.

My motor is makeing a sqeeling sound, it turns easy enough but squeels can u wd 40??

I don't work on gas dryers normally but, It may not be your motor making the squealing noise, it is probably your drum rollers making the noise.
You need to lube the shaft of the drum rollers with a good grade of machine oil like 3 in One oil...while you are at it you can lube the motor also if you feel that is necessary...
I would not use WD-40 to lube the motor or drum rollers it does not have the "staying power" that 3 in One oil has and you will be re lubing again soon, also it can creep its way into the motor and cause an electrical short to the motor.

How do you get access to the turning drum of a heavey duty large caapacity dryer. The drum is sqeeling

first thing, check on the rear of the dryer there should be a sleeve bearing in the center of the back panel try some lite lube and see if the squeel stops if so you will need to replace that sleeve bearing

Dishwasher makes squeeling noise when filling with water

if the dishwasher is only filling when u hear the noise it could be a bad water valve or if you are lucky it could be the screen in your water valve is dirty, however if it is filling and washing at the same time and you hear a noise like sqeeling it could be your motor, before u replace the motor. check the water valve or screen on valve may be dirty

I have a 2000 Cavalier, it started squeeling a little when stopping (but stops fine). The squeel got worse and now does it when i drive, and when i stop it makes a grinding noise buit still stops fine? Any...

YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE BRAKES...ASAP
The sqeal was the brakes warning you that they were getting low, when they were sqeeling all the time, they were telling you they were about gone. Now that they are grinding, you will most likely need rotors as well. Get them replaced asap !

Talkback sqeels when it decides to work!

the squealing you are referring to is usually due to to a disabled automatic modulation control circuit.
one or more dry solder connections could cause the intermittent operation.
