Question about Dell U0636 Mouse
I have a mouse thats been working perfectly up till today. The wheel and buttons still work, but when i move the mouse, the pointer on the screen doesnt move. I tried replugging it but still doesn't work. I think it has something to do with the led not reading anything because the red light dimmed down alot. Is this suppose to happen? Should i just get a new mouse, or is there a way to replace a battery or something inside the mouse? How long does the laser/led life usually last in this dell optical mouse?
The same thing is currently happening too me` but im trying too configur the settings` the problem is inside` clean out the dirt dust but the cord runs around a couple of revs and just push it down a bit and make sure the main rev (white plug) is just pushed a bit down and secure now` putting it back together is harder`

Good mice are cheap. If you spend a little more you can get a much more comfortable mouse, or even a laser mouse as opposed to an LED. I suggest mice from Logitech or Microsoft. The cheap Dell mice they send with systems are not the best, we've had dozens of them fail here in the office.
