You can go to the link below for the Scanjet 8200C series so it should work with your device. I could not find one for the exact model number or you could do the autosearch. HP has a driver autosearch as well.

How to install a HP scanjet 8250 in windows 7 with full features like double side scans and searchable PDF creator.

The basic driver automatically installs with windows 7.
The basic driver lets you scan one page at a time and does not let you do advanced options like double side and creating searchable PDF's.
HP has a software package listed for the HP 8270 scanjet that works properly with the 8250 scanner. I would assume that any scanner in the 8200 series would work with this software.
For full scanning features, I installed the HP photoshop essentials and the HP solution center. Click on the software link .."HP scanjet Full Feature Software and Driver"
After the install run the setup and follow the directions,
After the install, the front panel buttons on the scanner should now work. You should also be able to create PDF's(searchable) with the one touch of the scanner button.

The HP Scanjet 8250 I've bought as used don't reacts on pressing the on button. I've messured the current of the power supply - 32V and checked the current on the plug. Is there a fuse to change or another...

when installing make sure u install extended capabilities, and letitcheck the net for hp. updates, the updates can be a pain in the long run but worth it

I've always found that you need to power off and disconnect the USB cable. Also, if the computer is left on most of the time and you haven't used the scanner for a while, just restart.
