Hi I have the 42 inch Sony Bravia in my bedroom. The picture upstairs in the bedroom is too big for the tv if that makes sense.

Hello. It's not a picture setting, it's a format, or picture size setting. Look for a button on the remote labeled Format, or Size, or Zoom, or something similar. You want to select 16:9, or Full, or whatever fills the screen without zooming.

I have a panasonic split system in the kids bedroom its an ECONAVI indoor unit is CS-E9NKR we have not used this A/C since last summer, now the compressor will not start, only the indoor unit operates

Typically on a mini split the outdoor unit is powered and the indoor unit gets its power from the outdoor unit. If the unit is a year old you might have lost your charge. Look at the connections at the indoor unit and outdoor unit. You will typically see oil or a dirty area on your copper were there is a leak.

I have an LG Neo Plasma air conditioning unit in the living room and the Inverter in the bedroom. I understand these are set up to work together, however, the bedroom unit starts to freeze up (ice)...

I assume its the outside unit of the bedroom that freezes up ?? If the outdoor temperature is below 5 degrees celcuis, its likely to freeze up on the outdoor coil ( On heating mode), there is a defrost function which defrosts the machine automatically. If the indoor unit starts to freeze up ( on cooling mode), I would suggest that there is a shortage of refrigerant gas. Especially if the indoor unit starts to "spit" water out when it is running. There may be a gas leak due to a pipe failure or loose flared fitting. These must be rectified before recharging with gas.

Brought new tv for bedroom freeview inc..set up

If you have got a good aerial, the high gain type- see image, it should run all the TV's you say. Make certain you have decent cable coming off the aerial (the stuff they use for satalite dishes). Then buy some high quality splitters, to feed the TV's. Don't split the cable outdoors!

Tran A/c installed last summer

It's the ducting that causes the problem. But if the old unit wasn't as bad, did they install a smaller unit to save on money? It is possible, some companies do this to make more money. Sad but it is true. A return added to the room would help but if they can run a return, then they can add another duct or reduct the room as well. Sounds like someone is trying to sell you a story without fixing the issue. Tell them that they don't need to add an extra run, tell them to change the size! Also, make sure that if the run is longer than 25 feet, the ducting has to be stepped down in size to increase valocity to the vent. For example, you have a 10" duct running for 25' and then you step down to 8" the rest of the way unless that run is more than 25'. Hope this info helps!

Blown breaker

It sound like all of those go through your bathroom GFCI. I would recommend moving your outdoor circuit breaker indoors if possible or enclosing it to make it water-proof. You may also do some rewiring from your main breaker box ( if you are handy) to eliminate the outdoor box completely considering you have 100 amp / 200 amp breaker box inside your house. If you still have an old FUSE BOX with 60 amp service, I would recommend replacing it with a 100 amp or 200 amp breaker box depending on the size of your house. I would separate the laundry room by itself with 12/2 gauge wire with ground on a 20 amp breaker. You can then take your bathroom (using 12/2 gauge wire with ground keeping your gfci ) and run it to another breaker in the house with a 20 amp breaker or add a new one if there is room in your main box. Now all you have left is the porch light. You can run that separate from everything to your main breaker box using 14/2 gauge with ground to a breaker in your main box by adding a new 15 amp breaker or adding it to another 15 amp breaker that does not have a very high load such as a bedroom. In general Kitchens, Bathrooms, Laundry rooms should be on there own separate 20 amp breakers. Most every other room can be 14/2 with ground on a 15 amp breaker... hope this helps....Joe

My husband and I are building a new home with a second floor laundry room. We are very interested in purchasing a LG washer (WM2688HWMA) and dryer (DLEX8377WM), but need strategies to keep the units...

hi As a safety device, a dryer usually has a door switch that activates the working .A dryer is simply a large drum into which wet laundry is loaded. A motor with pulleys -- connected by a series of belts -- turns the drum. Air heated by a gas heater or electric heating element is blown through the drum to dry the laundry. The temperature and speed of the drum are controlled by a series of thermostats operated from a timer device on the control panel of the dryer.

The control panels on the latest dishwashers can look intimidating. They're loaded with so many dials, push buttons, and other features that the machine looks too complex to repair. This is actually not the case. With the exception of the control panel, dishwashers haven't changed much in basic design over the last two decades.
