TOSHIBA tv CX2769J NO SOUND

ZERO SOUND AND PICTURE GOES OFF SUDDENLY no sound, picture works great

SOURCE: Constant changes in picture colors.

It is a 20" TV set and will most likly, im afraid to tell you, cost more to fix then it is worth. The problem is a bad Picture tube, an intermittant CRT socket or the video jungle IC is intermittant. If you want to invest in an estimate, check out first if it will go towards the repair, as then maybe you can get it fixed at a good price, as long as the picture tube is not the problem Good Luck

try replacing hdmi cable. if that doesn't work you have something in the amplifier curcuit bad

It sounds Lamp is dead in your TV, how old is this TV and did you replaced its lamp recently?

Insignia TV suddenly no sound


Go into the SOUND section of the menu. Find the TV Speaker out option and make sure its on.
Make sure the VOLUME is not set to zero !!

Picture goes black


GO TO MENU, THEN SETUP, SCROLL DOWN TO TIMER AND MAKE SURE IT IS ON 0 (ZERO) MIN. SOUNDS LIKE ITS PROGRAMMED TO GO SLEEPAFTER A CERTAIN TIME. THIS TV ALSO CUTS OFF AUTOMATICALLY IN 15 MIN. IF ITS TUNED TO A VACANT CHANNEL( NO PICTURE).

Sound won't turn down


Change out your audio cables ,if this does not work some where you are missing ground.or its not connected right.ThankYou for using FixYa. Have a Nice Day.
