I posted earlier... I need to replace the fuse..I ripped the back off of my TV and I need someone to describe the fuse Im looking for??? I cant seem to find it (although Im sure its right in front of my face)
Once you take off the back of the tv you can see where the power cord plugs in and there is a thin metal cover you pull that off and unplug the power cord from the board and right in front of that under the other metal cover you will see a small fuse with a white middle. pull it uot and get a new one. i think that is what you are looking for

Many electronics devices have fuses inside. Also power supply circuit devices can, of course, fail. If you want to open it to look for a fuse, there is usually a warning on the back about that. . . I have seen a set that went out as you describe, opened it, found a bad fuse. Replaced the fuse and the set has worked for years since.
Please call Memorex customer service at 800-919-3647.
Unfortunately, what you're describing is a repair issue. You won't be
able to address the problem with troubleshooting. There is a part
inside the TV that needs to be replaced. If the TV is less than one year from the date of purchase, it is still under warranty. Call the number above so that you can have the unit repaired.

if you plugged a 125 volt tv in to a 220 volt outlet you more than likely fried alof of the componets in the tv. Putting a bigger fuse in there is only going to increase the risk of it catching on fire so i would not recomend that. you might replace the power supply and cross your fingers and hope that nothing else cooked when the 220 volts hit it
In one of my earlier post I posted the phone number where to order the board. However they were on back order so I got lucky an located the upgrade kit on Ebay. I'll post the part number for the kit and boards you need.

I just replaced my thermal fuse for $4.80 plus shipping handling.Took me 30 minutes to fix and 30 minutes to get dust out of TV.Take off the back of the tv about 8 screws, then remove the fan housing on the right hand side about 4 screws. If you have the new fuse you will know which wire it is ..grey and white.I found it easy to get to the other end through the front panel of the tv only 2 screws ,remove front panel and then remove cover on projection bulb and you will see the other end of the fuse clipped on.Remember to unplug tv. TV is working excellent now .
Thanks to everyone on this website.I have pictures if anyone needs them to repair it.
Hi all..i had the same problem with my 42 inch LG
rz42px11. its a faulty zsus board(Z sustain part no 6871QZH033A) the pop
sound was the fuse on the board blowing.not that hard to replace but be
careful with the connector ribbons! got my replacement from
https://www.chsinteractive.co.uk/ £150....expensive,but probably cheaper than
calling someone out to fix it.
P.S i tried just to replace the fuse on the board T2AH 250v but it
blew,i think the fact the fuse blows means the board is faulty..but you
hope this helps someone.
