1. Using the table below find your make of TV and the code which matches it.
2. Press and hold down Volume + and mute on your remote control at the same time for at least three seconds, until the green light in the top right-hand corner of your remote control flashes twice.

Need information on a philips t.v. model 32PT6441/37

Resetting the TV
If the buttons on the remote AND the buttons on the TV case do not work (channels do not change and you cannot open or navigate the menu), the TV has stopped responding. Reset the TV as follows:

NOTE:
Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.

clip_image001.jpg
1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.

hope this may help;

Key lock on

Hello
Your Dell tV can be unlocked by reseting it to factory reset.
To reset it to factory reset do the folloing.

Enter the TV main Menu.
Select Factory Reset to return the TV Menu settings to the factory default values

NOTE: Before you proceed with the Factory Reset, enter a four-digit access code. The Factory Reset and
Parental Control always share the same access code. The default Parental Control code is 3355
NOTE: Parental Control setting can be reset by doing factory reset

If you ar unable to do this proceedings, do the unlock method used for Philips, and your TVs kit is of Philips.

Philips sets use a four digit code to control the v-chip. The override code for Philip sets is 0711, although it may say "Incorrect code" the first time to trick you. If "Incorrect code" is displayed, simply enter 0711 again. To use it hit the MENU key to get to the menus. Go up or down until you reach AUTOLOCK or SMARTLOCK, depending on the model, and push the "right arrow" key on the remote. Enter the override code, and enter it a second time if it says it is incorrect.

Once in the AUTOLOCK or SMARTLOCK menu, go to BLOCK, and push the "right arrow" key. Go to BLOCKING OPTIONS and press the "right arrow" key. Go to MASTER DISABLE and press the "right arrow" key so that it says "MASTER DISABLE ON". The v-chip is now reset.
OK.

Make sure the sound output is not set on "fixed". You should find it in the audio set up menu.

Remote will not work tv.i have replaced batts in remote.

If the set-top controls still are working, your remote may have died; it wouldn't be the first one, I've had to replace an original too when it developed a thermal problem requiring a shot of freeze spray inside to make it work for a few minutes.
If the local controls are also not functional, the IR receiver in the set may have died. The output from this module is tied into the same circuit as the set's controls so if that function fails, neither will work.
If you need to replace your remote, don't just buy a 'universal' since none of these really are universal. If you intend to do that, at least check the remote mfr.s site to see if the remote contains the code set for your Philips.
Otherwise, you can nearly always get an original here:

'F' displaying on screen and remote not responding.

Excavated with Google from Philips website: " When a letter F appears on the right hand corner of the screen it means the television is in factory mode. To exit from factory mode, press the 'VOLUME -' and ?CHANNEL -? buttons on the TV set simultaneous for 5 seconds. " Hope this helps Michael Junge
