It sounds like you need to reinstall the drivers. This is a link to a driver download for th eVision 123 digital camera that has worked for me running Win XP. Hope it helps. Once you download and unzip the file, restart your computer and go to the setup file to start. for some reason the setup file doesn't seem to want to run until you restart. after the software is installed it works great. see the description on the page for more details of what is included in this setup. hope it works good for you too. And remeber to pay good deeds forward, if you come across someone else who needs this driver offer them the same link. DON'T FORGET TO BACK IT UP TO CD!!!! LOL

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I took some pictures and I have the camera hooked up to the computor and the disk installed now I am trying to down load the photos

Boot up the computer with camera not connected.
Connect USB cable to camera and computer if running WinXP, and turn on camera. The rest should be easy, the only setback is if you did not install the photo editing software that usually comes with the camera. If not, you might be able to use Windows software, but a few free photo editing software packages are online. Use Google to find them, the best being Google's Picasa. Good Luck!

Need instructions to transferr pictures from camera to computor for S630 Samsung Digital

Download Picasa from google, its free and really simple, you plug in the camera, it recognizes the camera and asks you if you want to transfer the pics to the PC, even if you want to erase the card afterwords. It has editing features and folder management. I use this exclusively over all the OEM programs I have 99% of the time.
