Do you have Driver CDs?
Is your Operating system still working?
Do you have Recovery Disk?

If you have Driver CDs.there will be no any problem to reformat.
if you don't have the CDs and our system still working,just make out the Drivers which you need.
If you have Recovery Disk,its so easy to reformat

Which jumpers do I short and where do I find them to reset the bios on a Toshiba Satellite A15-S127 (PSA10U-00RESV) PC Notebook?

There are no jumpers on laptops. remove the battery and disconnect the mains charger hold down the on button for about 30 seconds this resets the bios. Replace the battery
