Could be a variant of XP 2008 nasty
1) Try downloading "Malwarebytes" install and update it then run it
See if it cleans it up
2) go to windows explorer right click C:\ go to properties / tools /
error check.and D/click it when new box pops up tick little box to
repair errors and reboot.
on reboot windows will check system files and fix any errors then restart
Doing either of the above may fix your problem
Typically if you have a hard drive, you can slave it to a working computer and manually go in and copy the files onto the working computer and mess with them there.
Whatever program created the backup files is the one you need to open them, but copying them should not be a problem unless they are protected via password or encryption.
I googled the file extentions and the .RIM didnt have anything relevent, this is probably because its some file extention thats only used by a particular device just lik 3g files for phones. You would need the device or program that created it to access it.
Right click C:\ go to properties tools fix errors new box tick little box to fix errors reboot on reboot windows will scan disk and fix errors if this does not work I suggest you uninstall the program that caused the fault

Hopefully we can answer some if not all of your questions.
An E3-01 is an error code for your toner hopper. Did you just recently change your toner bottle?
If so, open your front door, take the toner bottle out. Close the front door, turn the machine on, and let the machine cycle and stop.
After the machine is stopped, then open the door and then place the toner cartridge back in.
Close the door, and if the error code doesn't come back your problem should be fixed.
Let me know if you have any other problems. Good luck

Hi, the only reliable place I know of to get any driver upgrades is from the computer manufacturers web site. If you google the brand name of your laptop and click on downloads, locate your model and see what is listed.
