Question about Televison & Video
I have a Techwood 32722HD LCD TV, 32". Three months outside its twelve month warranty.
A few weeks ago the picture went odd. It is watchable but far from right. The only way I can describe it is like green 'interference' where the picture has darker colours. Only way I describe it is that the image looks pixalated in places. I have re-tuned the tv and cable box, no different. I have played with the cables to see if what interference, but no difference. Tried it in a the bedroom with different cable box and scarts etc, no difference.
The sound is fine.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary. ..

I have a question? Do you move your Television frequently, OR do you unplug it frequently when it's not in use? I have found that doing either or both of those things can bring on problems, especially audio problems.
I've had the disappearing sound problem twice with my Element FLX-2610. This latest time I was stumped because the full scan didn't resolve the problem. And of course, the sparse manual that comes with the TV contains no troubleshooting advice at all.
But I did find a suggestion on another sveral other sites: Reset the TV. You might have a small reset button (like you would find on a DSL modem) somewhere on your TV but there is a manual way to do it two. Whichever way you do, MAKE SURE to disconnect every single device (yep, it's a pain) and UNPLUG the TV before doing this.
To reset with a reset button, disconnect devices and unplug the TV. Depress the reset button for 5 seconds. Reconnect devices, then plug in the TV.
Disconnect all devices
Unplug the Television
Using the on/off button on the Television (NOT on the remote), depress and hold the button for 5 seconds.
Reconnect the devices, then plug in the TV.
Unless something has shorted out or burned up inside, this resetting, as a last resort, should fix the audio problem. Worked like a charm for me!

Hi i had the same problem but i have sorted mine now. What i was doing wrong was i wasnt tuning in the analoge channels only the freeview digital ones. To do this you need to first turn your tv on. Then press the "source" button, this will bring up a little menu at the top left hand side. When this menu comes up press the "Programme +" button (the one that you use for changing channels near the volume button) press this until you get up to "TV", when T.V is highlighted just wait 3 secs and it will switch over. You will probably get a blue screen with a no signal message (you are now on analogue) when you get this blue screen press the "tune" button. It will automatically start tuning in all of your channels, at first they will be fuzzy but as it works they will become clearer. Your sky channel will also be tuned in. When mine tuned in it didnt tune them in on the right numbers though, bbc2 was on number 1 etc. If you ever need to use a playstation or something it goes into the scart connection at the side of the t.v and you need to press "source" and go up to "scart". To get back onto the digital channels just press "dtv/dvd".
hope i helped!

SOURCE: Fuzzy pic on Dynex 32 LCD TV
I am sumising that you have checked the menu controls on your tv and are recieving your signal from the cable box , so therefore if it is not comong from the Aerial and direct from the cable company then the picture should be clear .. However sometimes people dont check to see if the signal is RGB or composite from the box RGB is usually best if you have a scart socket connection or SVHS if your set has that capability .. sometimes people have an old VHs recorder and the sinal is coming from that to the set through the Aerail fly lead if it is you will probably find they are conflicting giving you a poor picture retune your Video to another channel instructions should be in its manuel if not come back to me ... reagrds Vortash
