After pressing the power button on my asus z92m, it will shut down by itself. He's loading the cddriver and the lights are turning on. But then it shuts down. Please help me.

It seems that your laptop didn't pass the power on self test. meaning there's something wrong with the motherboard or the power supply.

here are the things that you can try:

1. remove the battery and the charger.
2. press and hold the power button for 5 secs. without the battery and charger. the reason for this is to drain flea power.
3. then plug-in the charger only. (make sure the battery is not connected).
4. power on the laptop.

note: If the laptop comes on normally, the laptop encountered a glitch. sometimes by draining the flea power or static electricity will resolve the problem. If it didn't come up, you need to contact your manufacturer.there's a possibility that your motherboard is already fried.
