Do you want to get on-line with Xbox. If so you need to setup
the software and have on your Laptop Microsoft Media.

I cant connect my xbox live using a cable connection from my xbox to laptop how do i get the connction

That would actually be a "Line" connection. Or "Link". You will have to use a cat5 cord, and connect it to your internet source. (NOTE) just because logic says you can connect a laptop or pc to your Xbox360, simply because they use the same cords, doesn't mean it works that way. You can however use your laptop as a "Media server" in direct connection. This only allows you to transfer music and movies from your laptop to the 360. Not an internet pass through. Sorry.

Im using Wi-Fi USB connector for internet connetion, but it keep show up error code 52140, not able to connet... even my USB connetor is showing the running man mark on my computer?

Try this..

1. On the computer with the USB connector, get a command line (start -> run -> cmd) and type the command ipconfig /all
2. Normally it will show multiple DNS addresses.
3. Now connect your Nintendo USB connector.
4. Go to your network connections (usually under control panel) and right click the USB devices.
5. Under the general tab, look for Internet TCP/IP, highlight it and click properties.
6. Click Use the following DNS Addresses and enter the two addresses from step#2.

Xbox 360s power brick is making a beeping noise and orange light

Your power brick might be faulty. Unplug everything, wait 10 minutes and then plug it all back in. You can also try connecting your X1's USB jack to a nearby PC or laptop to see if that helps. As a last solution, you could just get a USB power adapter like Turtle Beach sells for the X1: http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/efx1a/replacementparts.aspx
This will let you plug in your X1's power directly to an electrical outlet.

I have a Yellow Led light on power bar, xbox will not turn on

Here ya go! This should help you out, I have also had this happen to me. Don't worry, its nothing like the red circle of death.
http://xbox-360-problems-fix.blogspot.com/2007/11/xbox-indicator-lights.html

Orange or Yellow Indicator Light

When the Xbox 360 power supply light is orange or yellow this means there is no problem with your console but the power supply can't supply it with power.

To remedy this problem, first try unplugging the Xbox 360 power supply from the console and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. You'll also want to uplug the Xbox 360 power supply from the power cord.

Wait for about five minutes and then reconnect everything. You might also want to try plugging it into another wall outlet without an extension cord.

If you are still getting an orange or yellow indicator light, then something is at fault with the Xbox 360 power supply. If this is the case, contact the Xbox 360 customer support to get a new one.

Hope this helps you out! Don't forget to rate me :)

Wii wireless connction has error code 51040

rror Code: 51040 Please try the following troubleshooting for the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector
  1. Verify that the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector is installed correctly and that the PC is turned on (the USB Connector will not work while the PC is turned off).
  2. Try our interference troubleshooting steps.

  3. Are you using any security programs (firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-adware, etc.)? If so, you may need to add the Nintendo USB Registration Tool software to a list of "allowed" programs or "exceptions." If this is unavailable, you may need to disable yousecurity program before the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector can access our servers. See Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector "Firewall troubleshooting" for more information.
  4. Try uninstalling the Nintendo Wi-FI USB Connector software, and installing the newest version. To get uninstalling instructions and the latest version of the software, please click here.
