Question about Compaq Presario 700 470024-192 Notebook
This could be a number of things that are causing the no start. The most common are a connection, device, or memory came loose during the fall, or the motherboard or a device was damaged. Start by checking the memory to see if it has been knocked out of its' slot, or slid out slightly. Then if you feel confident, take the machine apart and check all connections and devices. Devices are hard drive, cd drive, wireless card, etc... If you don't find any loose connections, obvious problems, or just don't feel confident in disassembling the machine, then I recommend you take it to a shop for a professional diagnosis.
