Speaker phone issue. The speaker phone needs to be replaced. The rebooting issue could possibly be fixed by doing a hard reset on device.

There are two reasons for a phone to restart. You could have downloade a virus from the internet or the battery of the phone is too weak to send any signal to the network. First try using another battery. Try to delete any foreign downloaded file. Keep me posted on your progress. I'm determined to help you.

Hi, Samsung D880, Problem is no sound, even I receive a call I can't hear but the caller can hear my voice.

Disassemble the phone first. Search the YouTUBE for that. Then change the FLEX ribbon cable. (The ribbon cable connecting the upper and lower parts of the phone through the rectangular hole.

MY SAMSUNG D880 KEEPS REBOOTING

check did you have memory card "bigger than 1 gb" installed
than remove memory cards, sim cards too

after removing its - start phone and perform full reset with code.

dialing *2767*3855#

but in your phone it will look like *2767*---- after clicking # phone will start full reset

after that return your cards in phone and start using it as new one.

Samsung SGH-D880 keeps rebooting and shows message /a/Operator/idle_optus.ifg then reboots again over and over.

If the phone keeps rebooting do the following:

Remove all simcards. Switch on the phone and type the following code: *2767*3855#

Follow instructions as it will do a total reset of the phone.

Don't use any OPTUS sim cards in the phone. Apparently these cause a problem.

I tried this and had success for a while. The phone started playing up again, but I am going to try it for the second time, and this time I am going to leave out the memory card. Apparently, having a large memory card can also cause this problem.

Good luck!
