You have dropped it at sometime and dislodged your speaker ( possibly broken it ) you will be able to hear your callers on loud speaker as it has separate speaker. (mainly to listen to your music) hope this helps. mike

Hi! I think your phone`s microphone is broken, or the software had crashed. In both cases you need to go to a service. Anyway, these are cheap to repair. If you have a data cable try to update your software using the soft that Sony Ericsson provided with your phone or data cable, or download it from here: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/softwaredownloads/detailed/pcsuite

SE K800i volume

Their could potentially be a problem with your Phone speaker, have you made sure you have call volume turned on/up !? when in a call, press the volume adjustment buttons on the side of the phone and a small window should pop up saying Volume. if the call volume is up but there is still a problem with your phone, i would seek professional help from either Sony ericsson or your Mobile phone Carrier

K800i no call volume

A problem with the internal microphone, or the contact between it and the circuit board, more often on the later, cause a condenser microphone is quite rugged. Anyway, it really needs professional attention, but if you're adventurous enough all you need is a T5 or T6 screw driver to open. Clean it, but don't use any liquid.
Again, it's a delicate job, better handled by professional on that field. You might end up losing your phone altogether.
