Can I use Pentium 4, frequency 3.0 GHz with Asus P4B?
Asus support says the fastest CPU you can use in that MB is a P4 2.6 GHz or a Celeron 2.8 GHz.

For the P4 you need BIOS ver. 1011 and for the Celeron you need ver. 1013.004.
