Looks like Farallon is long gone. Why don't you by a new ethernet adapter, they go for as little at $10 these days.

I cant get on internet it says code 10 for realtek RTL8101 FAMILY PC FAST INTERNET NIC

I would recommend you to reinstall the driver. If you've already installed it, then it might have corrupted or some files might be missing.
You can download the driver from the following links:
1. Click here to download

or if the above link doesn't work, copy and paste the below url on your browsers address bar.

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp38501-39000/sp38900.exe

2. You can download the driver from Realtek official website, direct link here (Click here).

Download and reinstall the driver, that'll fix your problem. If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Aspire L310 Desktop: can acer aspire L310 desktop work with win xp and ...

Yes. I am currently updating an Acer Aspire L310 (lunchbox format) desktop.

Many of the drivers are contained on the XP installation disk and will automatically be installed when you install XP.

Other Drivers:

Assuming your L310 has the same hardware (may not), you can use the following Hardware detail to locate the drivers by typing in the hardware model into a search engine like Bing.

NIC - Marvell Yukon 88e8056 PCI-e GB; this driver can be downloaded from www.cnet.com. On this website, just type in the model info and it will direct you to the driver download.

Wireless NIC - Broadcom 802.11g; download from www.cnet.com

Display/motherboard chipset - Once you have installed XP and the NIC driver, go to www.intel.com and click on the "downloads/support" option. The website provides an autodetect utility that will identify your hardware and provide updated drivers.

Audio - go to Realtek website and select "downloads". Download/install the high definition audio driver for XP.

Once you are up and running with XP, run the Microsoft Windows Update utility and it will find updates for many of the essential drivers.

...hope this info helps

Ethernet driver for EPoX EP-8KDA3J

I have this exact same mobotherboard. Did you install the chipset drivers? You need to download and install the nforce3 chipset driver. It includes the nic driver and all other things you're probably missing besides video and sound.

http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce3_winxp_5.11

I should tell you that my onboard NIC had problems on this motherboard. Sometimes it would lose connection, sometimes it would make my pc take 5 minutes to boot up when the cable was plugged in or just crash my computer.

I just use a PCI nic now. But you'll want to install that driver anyway. If you use a PCI nic, then go to Control Panel, Network Connections and right click the nforce nic and click Disable.

After reinstall of XP cant I get a network driver anywhere

The only other things I can recommend is an online system driver scan that will detect the ID's on the unknown network controller and tell you which driver to download. The only problem with this is that you would need to install another NIC to do this unless you arleady have one.

Here is a good one that I've used in the past:

www.driveragent.com

It costs $29.95 and you can install the agent on up to 10 computers.

The better alternative is to just purcahe another network card. I would go with an Intel Gigabit NIC. You can check out your options on CDW's website. Intel GB NIC's run anywhere from $35-50.

Sorry I couldn't help you locate the integrated network controller driver. I couldn't really find information on the Soltek board.

Perhaps one of the other options above will work for you.
