A gift was just given to me. They are the Logitech Z623 speakers. But, they came with no documentation. When I plug them in as intended with either my HDTV or my desktop pc, only one of the satellite speakers worked and the other did not along with the bass not sounding as I thought it should. The system did not come with an input cable that connected the system to the input device, so I just used one that plugs into the speaker output of the device and connects to the Left/Right connectors, and I do not know what the music symbol stands for. Does anyone have the setup and/or user documentation for this set of speakers? the support website for Logitech does not offer this. Strange. I just want to find out if I am missing something or if the system is just broken. Thank you in advance.

I checked Logitech's website and they don;t have any downloadable documentation for this product. Anyway, let's just try and fix it.

First, make sure your left and right speakers are connected properly to the bass speaker.

Next, the wire from the bass should be connected to your soundcard's line out port (light green) or into your TV's audio lineout.

You can also adjust the volume of your bass separately on the right speaker.

Update me if this worked or if you are still having trouble.

Thanks for using Fixya!

I plugged my Logitech Z623 (110V) into a 220V output. Made a 'pop' noise and now it doesn't work. What parts need replacing and how would I do this?

Take unit apart an look at power supply. It could be just the solid state fuse popped. Power supplys are not hared to repair, the diodes are about .50 a piece, the caps about $1 a piece or so. Hopefully ot did not reach the speaker, an i doubt it did.

Hi, the crackling is mostly a result from dust and debris building up on the contacts of the volume knob over the years.
You could try taking some compressed air to the space between the knob and the pod.
and
Sometimes with the power off rotating the knobs from end to end will also help.

Subwoofers not working on Logitech R-20 speakers; worked until recently

There must be a control on subwoofer, like a volume control. Turn it and check it. Also check the connections.
