Question about Tomtom GO 910 GPS Receiver
We’ve got a problem with our tomtom navigator. It suddenly became dumb and won’t show anything either. When it first happened we reset it and got it back working but this time around it has refused anymore resetting.
The problems could be outlined as follows:
*It doesn’t turn on, not at all.
*It used to turn on automatically when charging but that’s not the case now
*When charging it brings only the green light, which signals that, the charging is in progress
*It doesn’t connect to the computer. When you plug it to the USB it shows nothing.
In a simple phrase, we’d say it’s numb. What do we do to get it working? We need to use it for a long distance travel in a couple of days, and we can’t afford a new one now.
One suggestion is to plug the Tom Tom using the temporary power cord to you home circuit (not the power source from the car). That worked for me. Sometime the Tom Tom shuts down when left in the hot car requiring a reset. Then the best way is to plug in at home and restart. Try it, otherwise I can't help.
