I I have an a4 and there is a lot of wind noise frommy drivers windows anytime afetr 60 mph. The window and door seals seem to be intact and the door closes snuggly, Any ideas? and as help would be more than apprechaited.
I got some clear vinyl tubing at a hardware store (about 12 feet just to play it safe) - I think it was 1/8" I.D. tubing. Look at the rubber door seal along the top edge of the door - see how it's kind of a channel shape? Press the tubing into the groove, and cut it off flush with the end of the groove. This will help the doors to seal better to the body of the car, and since you're using tubing, it still allows it to act as a rain gutter for water runoff. If you get 12 feet, you should have enough to do all four doors. It actually makes a difference:)

I have a 2001 Audi A4 (new shape) and have a LOT of wind noise from both driver and front passenger doors. It seems to be coming from the corners nearest to where the wing mirrors are affixed. I have held my hands around the window frame and cannot feel any draft, it's just noise
My questions are -
Does the solution proposed in Solution #1 work?
Would getting Wind deflectors eliminate the problem?
Could it actually be the front windscreen area be the problem?
wind noise
