We tried that & everything seemed to check out ok. We actually found a pop bottle cap in the washer drain basket. Took it out & started a wash cycle. Got the Error code again so I reset the washer & it washed through the cycle w/o problems. I had a tech come out to look at the washer & he advised me that a common problem with the Duet front Load washer is if the drain basket get debris in it, the washer will automatically set off an error code. The tech also identifed that the water pump was starting to fail so we purchased a new one to install before it completely fails. Thanks for your efforts!

The problem started a few months ago and now it seems to be getting worst.  We would get an FH error on our HE3 during the rinse cycle.  We'd press the cancel button and it would usually say there's 1 min left in the cycle.  We'd then press and hold the start button and the cycle would start and finish without problems.  Now the FH error is coming up as early as 1 min into the wash cycle and it comes up a few more times throughout the wash and rinse cycles. We're doing the same thing to get rid of the error, but I know that's not the solution.  HELP!!

Does you unit have this water sensor at the bottom part of the unit?... if so..sometimes they get too sensitive and dictates an error message.

you can experiment by dsconnecting this wire and if it does not change anything, then short the wires. i am not sure if this is a normally open switch or a normally close switch.

if you jumper a wire on the two wires and it indicated a different error code, then it is a normally open switch. remove the jumper wire and w'e'll continue trouble shoot your unit.

tnx for using fix ya.

Maytag Epic FH Error

follow this steps .God bless you
F/H No water detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip not detected.

If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed.
Or
If the control has turned the water valves on and after 8 minutes the flow meter has detected 10.5 gallons of water passing through it, but has not detected the pressure switch trip, the valves will be turned off and the error code will flash.
Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
  • If there is no water in the unit:
    1. Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way.
    2. Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves
    3. Verify inlet valve operation
  • If there is water in the unit:
    1. Verify Drain pump operation
    2. Pressure Switch Hose is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch
  • Verify there is not a siphon problem
  • Verify wire harness connections to:Inlet Valves, Pressure Switch, Drain Pump, Flow Meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
  • Check all hoses for possible leaks

FH SIGNAL MEANS ......... WHAT IS THE USE OF FH SIGNAL........ AND APPLICATIONS

The error code FH means no water is detected entering the machine which can be due to a faulty flow meter not registering the correct amount of water that has passed through it or the pressure is not tripping from the empty position to the full position when the correct water level has been reached. Your machine is definitely made by Whirlpool like other Kenmore and Maytag washing machine so they are basically the same and troubleshooting is then the same. The link below contains the detailed troubleshooting of this error code for a Whirlpool Duet and should be applicable to your machine.

Code F1, does not stop filling, water pours out of soap tray

Are you sure it's not an F/H error?

The F/H code means the unit isn't detecting water fill at the flowmeter. The flowmeter sits just in front of the inlet valve and is attached via a hose, and off to the left of the CCU. Part link to the flow meter==> http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Flowmeter/1381535?modelNumber=GHW9250MW2
If your washer is filling ok, check the wiring from the flow meter to the control board; I've seen this harness jiggle loose and cause problems.

After 27 minutes into wash get an FH error

The FH code on the Whirlpool Duet washers indicates that the unit is not detecting water fill at the flowmeter. The flowmeter is sits right in front of the water inlet valve and is attached via a hose and is off to the left of the central control unit (ccu). If the washer seems to be filling alright, check out the wiring from the flowmeter to the control unit. Make sure all connections are clean and tight. These connections have been known to jiggle loose and cause this code. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Whirlpool duet FH code

its possible you have the correct number, but yes the FH is a "no waterdetected" fault, are you sure you rehooked all wires in the rightt location and in the right position(it possible to put a harnes sin the wrong slot or even upside down, the only 2 CCU's out there for this model and of you had the wrong one you would get wrong cycle selections, not anything to do with the intake waster, i would really recheck your connections

Kenmore Elite HE4T Washing Machine Diagnostic Test Didn't complete and clothes aren't spun as dry as in the past I have a Kenmore Elite HE4T washing machine and I noticed that recently it isn't getting all of the clothes completely dry from the final spin cycle. Thus, the dryer has to run through two cycles to get the clothes dry. I did a bunch of research and made sure there weren't any kinks or blockages in the drain lines; and opened up the bottom of the washer and cleaned out the drain cleanout. I found a few pennies, but everything seemed to be working ok. I ran a load and had the bottom open so that I could make sure the motor, drain and belt were all working properly. The drain does get the water out of the washer, so the clothes aren't sitting in water, they just don't seem to be spun as fast or as long as they used to. I always put it on the "extra high" spin setting no matter which type of load I run. So, I found a way to run the diagnostic test on the washer and it went through C0-C5 (the agitation step) and all worked great, until it wouldn't come out of C5 after at least 10 minutes and go thru C6-C8. I had to cancel the diagnostic test and hit the "drain and spin" button to get all of the water back out of the washer. BTW, the "drain and spin" seems to get the clothes a bit drier than when I have it run through the "normal" cycle with the "extra high" spin. If anyone has any other thoughts, I would really appreciate it. This unit is in a small space with the dryer attached so to take it out and do repairs is a pretty big hassle. It has had a new control board and two new fill valves in the 10+ years that I have owned it. Questions I have: 1.should I remove the entire drain pump to make sure there isn't anything lodged in it? 2. could it be the belt slipping slightly and keeping the spin from reaching its 1200 RPMs? 3. Anything else I may be missing???
