Question about Xerox DocuColor 12 Printer

Color print problem

I have a DC 1250 installed which i just recently got, after me printig 250 copies it has started a problem, that is red color is missing and it is like light orange with white patches in it.. please solve my problem

    I hav changed all the toner cartridges with the original one, pls support me if any thing i hav to do apart from toner , i will repeat the problem, i dont get red color on my prints, red gets missing and it appears like light orange with white patches in it

Your magenta developer has run dry which is why there is patchiness. There will be a problem with the toner supply but the only immediate solution is to get an engineer to replace the developer

Sounds like a toner problem. Have you gotten any lights to that effect?

    I believe that your color or specifically red toner cartridge is either in damaged in some way or close to empty. have you tried replacing it to see?

    I am going to need more information regarding your model.

    Is it a printer only

    Or a printer/copier

    There are many model 12s so please have alook at your printer on the information sticker or tab and let me know which one you have:

    Xerox > DocuColor 12 Fiery EX12

    Xerox > DocuColor 12 Fiery EX12e

    Xerox > DocuColor 12 Fiery XP12

    Xerox > DocuColor 12 with Matchprint

    Xerox > DocuColor 12 with Splash 10/20/30/or 40?

Printing from the system it is coming black only

When you press the COLOR copy button on printer, and it does copy in COLOR, then it is probable that the printing driver has been modified to print in greyscale. When was the last time it printed in color? Was there a Windows Update for the printer done recently?

No magenta printing

Dirty mirrors will gives you dull color images..It seems color combination faulty..
chk original cartridges installed? or refilled cartridges?
Take supply status page..
chk colors..If color is dull(light) clean laser scanner assembly mirrors.
Do the color calibration..
chk drivers.,
Print from other file..

I have a dell p513w printer, and recently it stop printing color copies. I have replaced black and color ink, cleaned and deep cleaned pinhead.

You said the device will not "print" color copies. Have you tried to make a copy of something in color?
Recommend printing out a demo page that should show all colors listed, also do a print head alignment that would show the colors too.

It seems your yellow color is not function correctly. Need to check yellow color feed and its linkage to deliver ink to your paper. Looks like it almost clog up that cause very light color in your paper. Again please check completely your color feeds.

Not Printig

When you select print, you should see a preview before it prints. Then you can check your settings. Select, print entire page.

the problem is cyan and yellow toner are low, u will change the cyan and yellow it will be cleared otherwise the will be empty u can't print any thing suppose one will empty other cartridge will not work

do an internal test print from the printer itself. If it prints a self test page O.k., then there is a communication problem either with the driver or the application.

Hp 3745 prints only the red color


This is Romeet, id like to try and help. Assuming you have windows XP installed,

go to "Start", select " Printers and Faxes"

go to your printer ( HP deskjet 3745 ) and right click it and select properties.

Click on " Print Test Page ", tell me what color does the Printout come in.
