Defrost drain is located behind the freezer wall at the bottom of the freezer. Remove back cover and flush out drain using a turkey baster and hot (not boiling) water.

- If you have the model you listed, that is the fix. It is a "fixya" not a "thanks for trying". If you can't fix it with the help I listed, you are not mechanically inclined enough to be asking for help on this site. The only way anyone can do any better is to come out and do it for you. Don't waste our time and give us a bad rating, just call for service and crack open your wallet.
We just had to fix the same problem on the same model. It was so badly frozen that the hot water would just reach the ice, get cold and never make it through. We unplugged the fridge, removed the back panel and used a hair dryer on the drain tube. Worked much faster with less extra water all over. With a flash light you can see when the water finally clears. Double check by putting a small amount of water over the drain hole (inside the freezer) to make sure it goes down immediately.

In addition to this, we have water pooling and freezing in the bottom of the freezer side, and of course, the spillover lands on the kitchen floor. Any ideas what we can do? With thanks Lynne
