Set screen voltages. To get to the adjustment board, take the front speaker grill off (two screws at the bottom left and right) and set it aside. No need to disconnect any wires. Then remove the plywood board with 4 screws that exposes the screen/focus adjustments. The top 3 adjustments are for focus, and you need not mess with these. The bottom 3 adjustments are for Red/Blue/Green screen voltage rough adjustments. My screen showed red lines, so I had to turn the bottom right adjustment with a philips head screwdriver just slightly until the red gun retrace lines where no longer visible.

Hi, TEN blinks - Check for shorts, leakage, or bad solder connections on the " D" board. If the transistors are bad, "D" board.
High voltage in TV got problem and that's why TV gives 10 time blink error code. Qualified TV tech will fix it as its bit complicated fix.
Parts are available but problem of High Voltage Protection (10 times blink) requires high expertise and experience of TV repair.
You must know how to test transistors, resistors using the multimeter if you are going to DIY.
If you don't have necessary tools and test instrument and can't
troubleshoot the unit yourself, I would advice you to seek for an
assistance of a qualified TV Technician to isolate the above faulty
There is some problme in G Board (power supply board) in your Sony KP-46WT520 tv that is why standby light blinks 9 times.
If you are handy with electronics stuff repair and can test/ replace parts in circuit board then let me know to provide you more technical info to fix tv problem.
Its 2 times blink error code that shows +B volt supply (+135 volts) is shorted, most probably horizontal output transistor is shorted, replace it. If you are good in soldering parts in circuit board then take out horizontal transistor, check it, found shorted then replace it with same number.
Horizontal output Transistor Q502 number is 2SD2578 and available in Part Store for $10 Let me know for further query, if any. Thanks.
Hi Thanks for using FixYa. Ten blinks on Sony HDTV means-- Check Transistors Q8014 and Q8013 on D- Board for shorts, leakage, or bad solder connections. If the transistors are bad, then also check R8051 and IC8005, these are also on the "D" board.
Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.
9 blink in your Sony KP-57WS500 shows error / problem in Audio section.
1= +19 volts &-19 volts are shorted by any reason on A and B board. 2= IC708 is faulty on A board 3= PS701 & PS702 (fuse) are open on A board.
Above are possible reasons of 9 blinks. If you have electronics knowledge and have tv repair skills then check as per above info. otherwise I recommend get help of TV tech person or contact nearest Sony service center. Thank you.
