Same here - all of the advice from PS3 states that you have to pair it using the USB cable - but there's no socket on the controller. Bigben information states that you don't need the cable so I'm a bit scuppered!!

Bigben controller and ps3
i had this problem with bigben mega pack bought with ps3 nov08
the problem is caused i find that the sony wireless controller supplied
has been already allocated as number 1 controller, this has to be changed while the bigben matches
the FIX:
boot the machine with sony controller and go into
settings\accessory settings\reassign controllers\ and re-assign the sony as number 3
(use left stick to move numbers up/down)
plug in the bigben receiver unit into a usb slot and then switch on the bigben
now the receiver light should now stop flashing and the bigben now has a single light agains number 1
go again into re-assign controllers and change the bigben to number 2
then re-assign the sony controller from number 3 to number 1
close down system
re-boot using the sony PS button (the bigben PS button does not boot PS3)
the sony should now be indicating that it is again number 1
the bigben receiver unit should have a steady red light but
the bigben will have all the lights flashing - click the PS button and they will stop
it now should only showing one light next to number 2, so is assigned as number 2 conroller
thats it
'
Note: I wanted to use 2 controllers for the game 'littlebigplanet'
Now if the two controllers are on, the game asks to assign a profile for the
other controller when it opens, so then you choose another user (that u have created)
Then another rag doll drops into the pod that is controlled only by the bigben (user2)

I have a big ben interactive battery controller for the ps3 and i can't sync it with another ps3

Hi, i had this problem also. you have to plug in the usb receiver (looks like a usb storage that you would use for pc) into the front of pc, make sure you have batteries in controller. Turn it on and press home, red light will flash on usb receiver until controller is paired with it.
Hope this helps...

Take care

Cant getmy big ben remote controlto work with my playstation. how do you connect them?

Inside the user manual for the big ben should be an area describing how to put the remote into pairing mode. Do this first. Then on the PS3 under settings select accessory settings. Then select manage bluetooth. Then select register new device this will scan for bluetooth and should pick up the remote. then all you have to do is select use this device.

How do i connect a Big Ben Interactive PS3 controller to a PS3? It doesn't have an imput for the mini usb!!

I don't know exactly what is wrong because i don't own one. Try looking for a sync button ether on the controller or in the options section of your PS. I also thing that it is supposed to come with a input.

Wireless controller problem

Its not a memory stick! its a radio reciever that you need with the controller.

The remote bundled along has a seperate one.

Just make sure the switch on the dongle is set to PS and not PC (as can be used on a pc aswell)

Just purchased a TTX Tech wireless PS3 controller that comes with a USB key fob that connects to one of the front USB ports of my PS3 console. I have successfully synced it to my PS3 only issue I'm having is how drastically different the configuration is from the usual sixaxis controllers. I noticed between the 2 controllers there are 2 clear differences amongst them. 1 being the trigger buttons are not the same and that the circular circumference for the analog sticks are alittle bit different in size. Basically comparing the size of a 25cent coin to a 5cent coin. I'm assuming because of the analog having less of a left to right and or a up and down travelling distance due to the difference of having a smaller analog circle that it could very well change the sensitivity aspects in the game of choice (COD Black ops 2) but I mean the difference between the two controllers is beyond noticeable I've experimented with lowering the sensitivity level from what was set when using the sixaxis controller compared to when using the TTX Tech controller. For example using the sixaxis I'm set to 13 for my sensitivity but when switching to the TTX Tech to become even close to having the same feel and view while using it in comparison to the sixaxis i have had to lower my sensitivity level to an 11 or a 10 instead of the 13 and yet it still is quite noticeably different from my sixaxis controller. Also I've found that the right analog for the TTX Tech is extremely sensitive gently applying upward downward and also side to side pressure on the analog causes a significantly noticeable jump or jolt that seems to never differ in speed regardless as to what has been set for the sensitivity level in game settings. In a nut shell basically I'm asking if anyone else has noticed these things I'm experiencing and if there may be a configuration manual or program that could some how configure the TTX Tech controller to act more as if it were a sixaxis controller in the aspects of the analog sensitivities and responding timing. Yes of course a new controller with a different shape and or feel will make for a "getting used to it" experience which does generally occur after a time period of using said controller more and more often. I am more or less meaning whether or not the smoothness and or the rythem you would have with one controller be more similar with one another. If anyone is a gamer and has gone from using a normal typical original PS3 controller and unfortunately having it be no longer able to be used to play games and switching to the TTX Tech controller immediately afterwards I'm sure will know exactly what I am trying to explain. Appreciate any insight and or knowledge towards my inquiry. Thank you kindly for the assistance and of course take it easy or take it any way you can get it :)
