I have a Toshiba Satillite A35 laptop that I can't get to conect to the internet. Back story ... laptop was working fine, went to Euroupe for a month and while I was in Euroupe signed in on a "Other account" on my boyfriends UK desktop.
Since coming back to the states I can not connect to the IP provider plus all my lights are lit except for the hard drive.
Please help! This is my only conection to my European boyfriend and I miss him terribly.

Re: I can't conect to the internet
It has nothing to do with your having signed on with another computer.
It has to do with what kind of internet connection you have - wired or wireless, cable, dsl or dialup. But it's not a "this is what's wrong, so do this" problem, it's a "answer this question, and I'll know the next question to ask you - for about 15 questions" problem. You need live help. The laptop or internet sections of answers.yahoo.com might be an easier place to get help with this.
One thing you can try, since you're paying for it anyway, is to call your provider's tech support number and see if they can get you fixed up.
- If you need clarification, ask it in the comment box above.
- Better answers use proper spelling and grammar.
- Provide details, support with references or personal experience.

If what you really need is the recovery disk, you can call Toshiba for it but if you only need the drivers, you can go to support.toshiba.com or pcsupport.toshiba.com. For the graphics driver, if you know that you have intel chipsets, you can go to intel.com/support/chipsets - there please select your chipset family then click on the "download" under graphics for your specific chipset then please select your operating system. Please restart your laptop after the download and see if it works. Thank you.
