Question about Epson EMP-S3 Multimedia Projector

1 Answer

Yellow green screen

Why do I get a yellow green screen on my Epson EMP-S3? I've tried adjusting everything but nothing worked. I've not even logged 100 hours of usage so I don't think it's the bulb. What could be wrong?

Your help will be appreciated.

Hello,

If you are connecting it to a computer with a VGA cable, you may have to go into the options of the projector and set the port correctly.

Go into the menu, and select the "image" area. In here you should be able to select computer.

There is no yellow colour in my emp 7600, can you help me how to solve this problem

Yellow light is made up of red and green light.
Your projector has 3 LCD panels. You need green and red to make yellow.
go into the menu and check that all the colour values are reset back to standard.

When you switch on projector the bulb gives off green light not a white light

first try to reset the settings to factory default. if that doesn't work, replace the cable. if that doesn't work, you may have a fried light filter on one of the lcd panels, or a main board issue (probably video processing chip).

Yellow hallo problem

It sounds like it is related to the red filtered glass before the prism inside the projector. When this gets to hot, it will burn a spot on the glass that causes the yellow spot. I have seen in happen on alot of epson 53c projectors. This has a red filter that is easily scratched when it gets too hot. It will actually look burnt.
