Incoming caller ring

Here is the link to the user manual if you need it. http://www.motorola.com/Hellomoto/Master%20Lists/Product%20Manuals/Static%20Files/CA-EN/30277_E815EnglishUserGuide.pdf Unfortunately what callers hear is dependent on the phone they are calling from, not on your phone. You could concievably send them a mutimedia message when they call, but there is no way to automate this, and it would probably be too much trouble and expense to bother. Wait a year or two, and it may well be that manufacturers start including this feature - it would require a slight modification of the communications protocols on the cell networks, but it probably would be popular. Good idea. Hope this helps :)

How do i change the ringtone callers hear when they contact my htc wildfire

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

In most cases, the ring tone callers hear (incoming ring tone) is controlled by your cellular service provider.

Try this first: (On the Internet) Sign-in to your cellular account. On your account page, look for a link that directs you to your incoming ring tones (or similar). There, you can change your incoming ring tone.

If you're unable to do that, contact your cellular provider's Customer Support. They can assist you in changing your incoming ring tone.

Downloaded a ring tone with the memory card but when i load it on the phone it will only play as music, can't set it as a ringtone.

Hi friend,

Could you tell me if your cell phone can support the function?

You can check like the following:user profile-General-Customize-Tone setup-Incoming call, then you can see many ringtones in it,Could you see the icon"empty"?If so,you can set the ringtone you downloaded as the ring tone of incoming call. You just need to find the ring tone you downloaded, and transmit it to the "user profile".

But if there doesn't have any "empty" icon,I am afraid that you cannot set it.But you can try to cancel some ringtones ,and replace them by the ringtones you downloaded.

You can get much detailed information in the website:www.1010store.com

Good luck!

Low custom (individual) ring volume

This is not a B/B fault, unfortunatley the person who recorded the ringtone has recorded it at a low level, import into a wave/mp3 studio program and alter the recorded levels.

That is if you have tried the following:

Select Speaker Icon on the front screen of your 8100 (top right) press pearl in, scroll down to advanced, select the current profile (this is defaulted to Normal). Scroll to Phone and press pearl in.

Change Volume to High, if it's already on high, try the option above.

Ring tones v3xx

With Motorola, they made the software so that when you have a call and an sms from a person that has a custom ring tone, it will ring like that both ways. Thats a limitation in the firmware with no way around it. And yes, you can either call your carrier to block it by default on the network itself, or you can go to into the phone settings and toggle a menue called send caller id, and click off
