Question about Dell 924 All-in-One InkJet Printer
Looking at the illustration of the 924, it appears to use an increasingly common arrangement and the power 'cable' may be actually a plug-in power supply instead.
This is used to avoid the need of qualifying each printer model for electrical safety by using one supply (= one fairly complex qualifying exercise) for several different models.

This also explains the apparent high cost of the 'cable,' even though the modular supply proabably cost less than $10 US when it left China.
It is likely to be a rectangular box with an attached AC cord and contacts on the opposite end from the cord that slides into the body of the unit.
For a missing supply, I would check eBay before buying one at retail.
