Question about GPS
There is no need to update the maps if you are happy with the gps performance. Many GPS manufacturers offer update maps every year and this might be a way that they are trying to scare you into buying something that you may not want. That said if you have had the gps for more than 2 years I would reccomend updating the maps, especially if you live in an area that changes a lot, i.e. California. Can you clear the message? If so does it return frequently? If would help if you provided the model of the gps.
