Question about iLO 3200 32 in. LCD Television
42" Ilo LDC HDTV Flat Panel connected to comcast HD box using HDMI. It was working up until two weeks ago. I noticed the HDMI was not getting a signal after a heavy rain storm which knocked out the cable reception. Once the cable reception was restored the HDMI connection would no longer receive a signal. I had a comcast technician come out to check the cable line and everything is working. I picked up a new cable box from comcast. I bought new HDMI cables but still no signal.

Call Dish Network at 1-888-284-7116 and they can walk you through the remote program setup. Or you can look in the instruction manual for code searching using the DN remote control.

Weegee, Unfortunately you are trying to mix two different video types: VGA is an analog video interface found on most computers (except for latest with flat panel monitors, which are usually DVI). Your TV DVI interface is digital (although there is a DVI-A, which is an anlog DVI interface, it is unlikely that your TV has this). So, what you are trying to do probably won't work. I assume your computer does not have DVI output (otherwise you wouldn't have bought the adapter), but some monitors have VGA inputs; does yours? What kind of DVI adapter did you get? Is a DVI-A? Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dvi for info on DVI interfaces.

Hi, I'm afraid that not only a cable is needed but an analog (vga) to digital (dvi) converter/scaler as well. The iLo LCD Display V27DMBX-U12 can hook up to a PC using the DVI-I connection only. As you said, your computer has the standard 1D15 pin VGA connector. Another possibility is if your video card has a composite video output (normally a color yellow RCA female) or an S-Video output which will both connect direct to your iLo LCD Display V27DMBX-U12. For the RCA connection all you need is an ordinary RCA to RCA shielded wire cable and for the S-Video, an S to S Video cable will work. There is of course the question about the quality or the resolution. Good luck and hope that this be of some help to you. Pls post again how things turn up. Kind regards.
