There is a hidden Administrator account that is created when your operating system is installed. Access that account and then reset your password.
1. Boot your computer and press F8 repeatedly 2. Access Safe Mode 3. Key in "Administrator" in Username, with no password. 4. Go to Control Panel, then User Accounts 5. Select the account you want to reset the password 6. Change the password
Login any available computer which can allow you download. Insert a blank CD . Find out Windows Password Key and download it, burn the iso image file to the cd. When finish, insert the disk to your computer, restart your computer, set the bios so that the computer boot from CD. Then you can clear your account password without knowing the current password.
Try presing F9 whilst booting(every other boot) to take you to factory restore pages select system recovery or discscan then press "E" then"B" etc and reset OS
I suppose that you don't have administrator password.
If you have Xp installed, press twice CTRL+ALT+DEL and type at username Administrator and hit enter.
From there, in the Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management at the users section you can reset your password.
if u use windows xp ,press CTR+alt+del to apper a windows then type ADMINISTRATOR
foe user name and leave blank for pass and press enter.af u use another OS tell me ..
It's one or two problems,
1. If you are using linux as an OS it have time limit on your password that will lock you out of your system. Micorsoft is it!
2. Go to your bios setup and reset your password by using F2 key or the DEL key to get us to the bio setup to change your password. Take your time when you are in the BIO setup and read each step you do!
enjoy
I'm doing this from memory because I don't have an Asus handy. Reboot the machine press F11 to get into BIOS before the password screen comes up. You may have to try this several times. I've never tried this but I read on the Asus site that if you press CRTL-ALT Del while the unit is booting, that will put it into Administrator mode. Leave the password it asks for blank.
The quickest way I've found to change a password is before you go into BIOS and run all our discs take out the CMOS Battery! The password is in volatile memory which is only supported when power is applied to it. You will also have to take out all batteries and chargers attached to device. Wait about 45 seconds then leave the CMOS Battery out until you are sure the password is cleared then remove all power and reinstall CMOS Battery.
