Question about JVC GR-D53 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
This could be due to either a stuck iris or a bad CCD. Try playing a previously recorded tape. Also, try recording onto a new tape and playing it back through the video output on the camcorder. We need to narrow down whether the problem is with the displays or with the internals of the camera. If the displays are the problem, playing a previously recorded tape will fail as well. If the problem is the iris or CCD, then the tapes will play.
