I have an Advent bluetooth adaptor that will not work with my mobile phone

    I have loaded the disk - but the bluetooth wont link with my moblie although it did work with a colleagues mobile.

    I have installed an advent ade-c2edr to my laptop and followed instructions to the t. My phone will detect it under its own bluetooth menu and apir with it ok but when I try to send a picture of music to my laptop it does not detect the adapter in list and when I select search for device it says no devices found.

For the people looking for the advent paskey or password. most advents are "1234". try that and you should be ok.

I have an advent bluetooth adapter which ive never bothered with, now I come to play with it, the pc is asking me for a passkey before it continues, Ive no idea what it is or where I get it from any ideas ?????

HOW DO I ADD BLUETOOTH WANT TO TRANSFER PICS FROM MOBILE PHONE
If this laptop did not come with bluetooth, you can go to most any electronic store, or big box computer store and purchase a USB bluetooth adapter. These install with out too much problem and then all you need to do is pair the devices.

How can I download music to my mobile without connecting to the computer?
You can send using BLUETOOTH , activate the bluetooth on the device /phone/PC and send the files to be received into the phone.
Secondly you can remove the memory card and place it into the card reader using an adaptor and then load all the required files directly into the card.

How to set mp3 file as a ringtone on the samsung two step
Most modern mobile phone can use MP3 as ring tones: you will need either a cable or Bluetooth adaptor to connect the mobile phone and PC together and then 'upload' your MP3 file to your mobile phone in the appropriate directory (you can usually guess which directory by looking at other directories and files on your mobile. Once you have downloaded the MP3 (of reasonnable length) file to your mobile phone, just select your new ringtone from your alternative directory. Enjoy!
ps. you could of course the MP3 file send to you directly rather than using the traditional Bluetooth or cable connections.

advent milano has bluetooth software but you have to buy third party hardware to plug in for it to work.

Im not too familiar with these devices but usually with other Bluetooth products in order for the mobile device to detect anything the device you wish to connect to needs to be put into pairing mode ? is this available within the software it was bundled with ?

it could be known as pairing or discover mode
