Try downloading mozilla firefox to use as your browser.is far superior to internet explorer.
+ get program called superantispyware .gets rid of most crafty bugs.works in background completely so cptr not slowed down and does not conflict with most antivirus progs to my knowledge.
forgot to ask.are you on wireless network?+ check your firewall not blocking you.

Internet explorer not working

Check whether your internet connection is working properly or not. To check this ping to your DNS Server of your internet service provider. If you get a reply from the DNS Server then the problem is with your browser, if so then install another browser like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. If you dont get a reply from DNS server contact your ISP and resolve the Issue with them.

Trouble connecting to wireless network

Hello

You probably have a virus. To check for sure goto Start, Run and type cmd. Once the DOS screen pops up type ipconfig /all. If this shows data in all the lines (not zero's) then type ping Sony.com on the next line. If that comes back saying that Reply and then an address, this means that your actual internet is working fine and that your browser is infected or corrupted. If possible download the virus cleaner from www.avgfree.com and from www.download.com download malware bytes. You can download these at your local libray. Run these to clean your machine and then your browser should be fine. Also, get superantispyware from www.superantispyware.com.

Good Luck

When i launch browser, keep on getting wnnt6.exe, address violation errors. this happened after i opened a photo file from a relative with hotmail address

Most likely a spyware/virus infection. You can try an online scan from housecall.trendmicro.com or download and run COMBOFIX.EXE and see if you can eliminate the infection.

My browser closes every time i click the search button. if i enter an address on the address line all is well but if i use the search button, the browser closes.....everytime

That sounds like either a virus or a corrupt program, I suggest downloading Avast - free home edition at
http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html
to get rid of any viruses. If the software you use to browse the internet has somehow become corrupt you'll be wanting to reinstall it, i suggest using mozilla firefox, found here, www.mozilla.com/firefox/

That should do it, good luck

My acer aspire 3105WLMi windows Vista Basic keyboard keeps missing random letters as i type..even now! my laptop is 6 months old and constantly runs via the plug into the wall which then runs to the...

First Things first. Un-install the software that you installed immediately as while you are Internet Banking a pop-up is a security threat and It is not a security pop up mind it.

Regarding the keyboard missing the letters. Please follow the following :

In control Panel go to Keyboard settings and move the repeat delay & repeat rate to a slower setting.

2nd Option

open a Word processor and type in ABC to Z & All the combinations of the same & special characters using shift. Repeat this 2-3 times. If same letters are missing it means that the keyboard has a problem and needs disassembly & cleaning.

The Task manger & Registry editor is disable What is Problem?

your pc is infected by virus. I suggest you to scan it using Avast Antivirus with updated virus definition database(you can easily update it online after installation)... Formatting will not solve the problem because viruses are present on other partions of your system. Your pc is most probably infected by Win32 type of virus.. I suggest you to install antivirus and scan it as soon as possible..

If you have Vista, try running Windows Defender within Vista. If that does not work, Spysweeper will get it.
