Question about Radio Communications

Microphone there is no voice detected in my microphone.what shall i do? thanks.

    I plugged the headset/microphone into the computer and the earphones work fine but the microphone isn't recording anything.

    microphone started distorting,then failed completely soon after.It no longer works and other players complain of feedback/distortion,similar to a open mike .

The recording sound can not detect any voice

Make sure you have the volume turned up on the microphone and make sure the microphone is not muted. Also go into your audio properties and make sure the voice recording and microphone is selected and you might be able to run a test from there also.

Voice and microphone cannot be detected

click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it or select audio from the microphone drop down list make sure you have the right one selected and in the volume box make sure the microphone box has a tick in it or select the voice tab and make sure that you have the right media selected also select volume make sure the box for microphone has a tick in it hope this helps

  • Hi, these instructions will help you with the Audio problem. These are the steps to setup and 'restore' the Audio Drivers. Part (1) Click on the "Start" button, go to and click in the (right, pane) Control Panel. Scroll to find, "Hardware and Sound, select "Audio Devices and Sound Themes” click, “Playback” Next, click on the Active "Speakers.” Click “Configure” to "Audio channels" the (Speaker Setup) "wizard,” appear! Select (Test) click, Next! Follow the instructions. Part (2) Click 'Properties' change the "sound"(Level). Click on Enhancements, "Apply" changes. “The (Advanced), “not recommended!” In the Controller Information (block), click on, Properties to "update" Drivers. Check to see if Device usage: (enable) if not? "Change it." *Note: “Click the "OK" to all change; 'Save,' and apply!” before exiting. “Rating the solution is appreciated, thanks”

Hi there , have you got a microphone connected and setup properly..if so then try see if you have correct drivers for sound card installed...
Try your microphone on a different PC aswell to test if its not faulty

Microphone not detecting sound in sound recorder

1. Right click the sound icon in the system tray
2. Click "Adjust audio properties"
3. Go to the "Voice" tab at the top
4. Ensure that a device is selected for the section "Voice Recording"--ensure the appropriate device is seleted--most likely ti will just be one option --make sure it is selected

My internal microphone has muted itself. how do i unmute it

Look down at your task bar, click on the little speaker and it will bring up a window. Uncheck "muted". Or go on your device manager(control panle, system, device manager) and find your microphone. Double click and make sure it is enabled.

if you are using xp sp2, you need to go to control panel and then choose Sound and Audio Devices and then click voice tab from up, and click test hardware and in the end it will.
