My Canon iP90 has been working perfectly but now won't work at all. Nothing. Not a bleep. The green light's on and I've done all the utility checks and they're fine. I've tried turning it off and on, removing the power and so on, but nothing at all.

Your machine has almost certainly entered the water quality mode. (Water hardness setting). This is very easy to fix. Switch machine off. Before switching back on press and hold any off the following buttons: Latte Macchaito (top right) for soft water, Cappuccino (bottom right) for medium water or finally both of them for hard water. While holding the correct buttons switch the machine back on BUT hold for approx. 10 seconds or until all lights stop flashing, (APART FROM THE BUTTON YOUR HOLDING). sounds like the battery is bad and not taking charge.replace battery attemp again if not then check for fuel, spark and compression.then c wat happens or wats not working any motor no matter how small or big has to hv those three things to run. hope this helps.

if not then i would recommend to take it back to the manufacturer and request a refound for the defective equipment.

You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.
And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Canon pixma iP90 released almost at the same time with canon Pixma iP 1880. Canon iP90 is printer with single function. Cartidges which used in canon Pixma iP90 is BCI-15BK, BCI-115C dan BCI-16C. Resetting procedure canon iP90 almost the same as manual reset canon iP1880. You can use combination of button in the printer to reset the printer.

Sounds like the printhead is plugged on the black side. A new printhead is #qy6-0052-000 around $40.00. That model also needs a firmware update to help it clean the printhead better.
