Question about Computers & Internet

I can't access my router through the URL.

My D-Link DIR-615 wireless n router has a gateway of 192.168.0.1. I type this into the URL, and it won't work. I can access this router from every other computer on my network by doing this. It isn't the wireless card, because I've tried doing it with multiple wireless cards. I also cannot access files from other computers. My operating system is Windows XP Media Center. I've already tried turning the firewall off. The internet on my computer works fine. I can change the IP address of the wireless card on this computer, so apparently the router sees the computer fine. I can't access my router through the URL. It says it is busy and try again. I have been trying for several days to no avail. My router is wireless G WBR-1310 D-Link.

How to connect TP LINK TL-WA901ND with Dlink DIR 615

Have you set the TP Link TL-WA901ND IP to have 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway ?
Also DHCP server is where ?
IN the TP LINK TL-WA901ND or in DLINK DIR 615
Only have one Router running DHCP and set the default gateway in the leases as 192.168.1.1.
What subnet mask are you using is it the same through out all devices ?

My old d-link router works fine. I bought a new DIR-615 but it won't connect. My computer won't "see" it. I followed all directions several times.

Make sure that the broadcast SSID in your router is enabled. Try setting it up again and make sure all necessary settings are set, or it might be the settings in your computer itself, let me know what type of computer you are currently using so i can check.

I am using DLink DIR-615 router and I want to secure my network but I could not log on to 192.168.0.1 Please help.

Try 192.168.1.1-it has to be whatever your default gateway is.
You have to enter your DEFAULT GATEWAY-and that may not be it--go to START>RUN and type "CMD" in the box-- at the command prompt type "MSCONFIG" and you will see your DEFAULT GATEWAY

If this was helpful, please indicate so, if not -comment back so we can dig further to resolve this.

How do I disable my DIR-615 and make it un-secure to allow internet access on my Wii?

For that Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link.
http://192.168.0.1
or
http://192.168.1.1
If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it.
Then it ask for user name and password.
Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank.
Then you can see configuration page of router.

Click on wireless settings disable wireless WEP Security .Then save settings and restart router.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

Linksys will not allow you to access admin on your router on a wireless adaptor by default. You will have to enable it or use a wired connection.

Is file sharing enabled on the computer you are trying to get the media files from?

I can't access my router through the URL.

Open your router, in the IP settings make sure your IP range is set from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.10 this will give you 10 different IP address so that all computers will be able to connect with their own individual IP's. provided you have less than 10 machines
This is unusual to have this IP, most have 192.168.100 Do this to confirm your IP, on the computer that you have the wireless router connected to hit start-run-type in CMD when the command prompt box opens type in "IPCONFIG" this will tell you what the computer has for all you settings if they do not match the router make the necessary changes in the router.
