My hp printer was working great until yesterday when I seemed to be taking ... I was able to fix the paper jam error on my friend'shp desktjet ink ..
Seems like the cartridge head is jammed. You can take the cartidge out and put the head for like 5 minutes in warm water then clean it gently with some tissue paper, hopefully this shall solve your problem.
you printer need a proper cleaning, please clean your printer properly with an air blower because an small or very tiny peice of paper seems to be stuck in the print roller or paper loader assembly, if that does not work, pls get your paper loader, roler or paper try checked by an printer technitian, you might also have to change your sensor assambly board.
Since it's trying to print, the printer probably just needs cartridges. The ink can dry in the nozzles with age and disuse and clog them.
Before you splurge on new cartridges, try getting them going. (This assumes there is some ink left in them.) Take the cartridges out of the printer, wet a layer of paper towels about 1/8 inch thick, and whack the nozzles against the wet surface a few times. Check every few whacks to see if you're getting any ink flow. Repeat until you see some ink on the towels and on the nozzles, or until you decide it's futile. Often this dislodges the clogged ink and opens the nozzles, and buys some extra printing time. But you're probably going to want new ones soon anyway.
How long ago was it since you last used it? Inkjet and deskjet printers don't like to sit more than a week or two without you printing anything or they dry up. Your cartridges may have dried up on the bottom or the part that the cartridge sits in may have dried up. Take a Q-tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol and dab it a few times. Make sure it's totally try before putting your cartridge back in.
it is better to change the black cartige becaue there is the jam of the ink in black cartidge. or pick out the black cartidge and clean with soft paper in the place from where color is pour. then reinstall the cartidge. i hope it will ok. otherwise, change the cartidge. byee
